Recording: Role of Excipients in Continuous Manufacturing of Solid Oral Dosage Forms

Recording from Wednesday, April 21, 2021

Webinar Overview:
Continuous manufacturing is a hot topic within the pharmaceutical industry and with the FDA. Pharmaceutical companies are actively developing continuous manufacturing processes both in generic and innovative oral solid dosage drug products. Excipients play a critical role in continuous manufacturing and this webinar has discussed the key excipient properties including particle size distribution, compatibility and flowability that need to be considered to design the most efficient processes. In addition, the role of excipients in twin screw granulation as well as the regulatory landscape for continuous manufacturing will be discussed.

This webinar has included 2 hours of interactive presentations. We invited academic, industry, and regulatory experts to provide different perspectives. We have allotted approximately 35 minutes for each presenter. Discussion and Q&A will be encouraged throughout.
